Hearts flow like water;
Even the lake churns awhile
When part is pulled out.

Going with the flow doesn’t mean ignoring the feelings that arise. Flow through them.

Fullness of the Moon
In four weeks heavens renew
Perhaps, so do we
I like to imagine that reincarnating as a baby duckling is something like a short vacation between lives.

The Lives line is long
to be a duckling, and yet
Not so much, a duck
It’s said when the wind rushes through bamboo or tree leaves, nature spirits are whispering. This wind makes them sound joyous!

The trees are dancing
Flinging forth leaves in the wind
Confetti of Life
I am fascinated by the tree that’s just grey sticks in my green grass all Winter, growing huge, fuzzy leaves in Spring.

Bare little stick tree
Did you have fun this winter?
Seems you have a child!
After the bleakest, bitter cold, the world gives us glorious new life. Happens every year. Feel this in your bones.

Dry and barren ground
Sprouting the fig tree’s first leaf
Miracle of Spring
Timelessness

Frozen in the moment
As it slips between our fingers
Fluid as melting ice.
Have we been here before,
Or has the Before now become us?
There’s a light, electric feeling in the air that seems to carry me on its current.

Feeling clear and light.
I think: have I touched the sun,
or has it touched me?
Love really does seem to live a life of its own sometimes, doesn’t it?

There’s a poem that came to mind today, and I couldn’t remember where I’d heard it. I experienced it as a memory of a spoken word, but only the voice and the words themselves are coming through right now! I used to go to poetry readings long ago, so that’s possibly where this is from.
So, here is a poem that someone wrote. If you happen to recognize it, please let me know so I can give it attribution!
There’s this thing called love.
I don’t understand it,
but it’s there.
It fills me with fortitude and strength.
It also makes me feel weak and helpless
when it goes awry.
There’s this thing called love;
I don’t understand it.
But it seems to live
my life.– Unknown
For all the wild extremes we’ve been experiencing lately, I’m feeling a curious sense of peace.

Chaotic dreamscapes
Swirling our days with dry leaves
Eye of the Stillness
